Please welcome Dr. Priyanka Mittra (MBBS, MS GENERAL SURGERY) to our Shenoy Family. Dr. Priyanka has completed her MBBS in 2016 from North Bengal Govt. Medical College, West Bengal.

She competed her M.S. General Surgery from Govt. Medical College, Thrissur, Kerala in 2023. She has been awarded with the prestigious Dr. Maya P Memorial Gold Medal Award for securing Rank 1 in her Institute, and Rank 2 in Kerala University Of Health Sciences, for M.S. General Surgery Degree Examination.

She is a dedicated surgeon having the aim of helping patients with empathy. She adept in wound management and burn care, she bring a proven track record from her tenure at Thrissur Medical College and now, Gandhi Hospital. Skilled in both compassionate care and surgical precision, her career is marked by dedication to continuous learning and excellence in patient consultations, underscored by effective teamwork and interpersonal skills. Focused General Surgeon and Plastic Surgeon in making, with experience in performing variety of surgical procedures such as appendicectomies, hernioplasties, amputations, orchiopexies, jaboulays, thyroidectomies,early excisions, skin grafting, z-plasties, scar revisions etc. Detail- oriented individual with thorough knowledge of modern surgical practices. Dr. Shashank Deshmukh is a Laser, Laparoscopy & General Surgeon with over 11 year’s experience in the field of surgery from 2014 till date.

He has performed over 1000+ laparoscopic surgeries, from gall bladder stones to hernias to acute abdominal emergencies like Appendicitis, perforated intestines and intestinal obstruction. He is a double fellowship holder in laparoscopic management of hernias and is a specialist in the same.

Having being trained in the field of minimal access surgery by the best surgeons in southern India, he has excelled in the user of LASER for treatment of varicose veins and in Proctology (Hemorrhoids, fistula, fissures)

In addition, he has also trained over 50 post graduate students in General Surgery over the years.

Being an astute surgeon, he has an impeccable clinical acumen in wide variety of surgeries in the spectrum of general surgery.
